PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Home and School
Home & School is our parent organization that supports SMMA throughout the year with a variety of activities, events and fundraisers. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join! We have an assortment of activities with various commitment levels, so there are opportunities for all.

Some of the activities Home & School assists with include: Trunk or Treat, Fall Mum Sales, Father/Daughter Dance, Diva Dash, Food Truck Friday, Guardian Angels and room parents for classroom parties.

School Board
Our School Board acts as an advisory board for the administration and pastor. The School Board consists of nine parishioners, a minimum of five of which must have a child attending SMMA School. The pastor and principal serve as Ex-Officio Members. New members are elected each April who will each serve a three-year term. The School Board meets on the third Tuesday during the months of August, September, October, November, January, February, March, April and May.
